The clerk, Mrs Alison Gibson, has been in post since May 2014. Her contact details are at the top and bottom of this page. Alison, who has previous experience as a clerk, also works part time at Leicester and De Montfort Universities so may not always be immediately available, if you leave a message she will get back to you as soon as possible.

Parish Council Elections 7th May 2015

The Parish Council Elections take place on 7th May 2015.

Parish Councillors have an important role in your village. Have you considered becoming a Parish Councillor in Tur Langton? See our Parish Elections web page for more information.

Important dates for your diary:

  • Thursday 19th February at 6.30 p.m. - Meeting to find out more about Parish Council Elections, Kibworth Grammar School
  • Monday 16th March - Nomination packs available from the clerk
  • Monday 30th March - notice of election goes up. Nomination papers can be submitted from that date
  • Monday 30th March - nomination papers can be handed in at Kibworth Grammar School between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
  • Thursday 9th April at 4 p.m. - deadline for submission of nomination pack
  • Thursday 7th May - Election day

Parish Council Meetings

Meetings take place in the Village Hall. Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings, which usually start at 7.30 p.m. Agendas are posted 4-days in advance on the noticeboard and on the Meetings Calendar on this website. The dates of the next meetings can also be seen on the panel to right.
